Hans van Aalst is highly experienced in organising city centres. Besides being the owner of multiple stores for 20 years, his focus has shifted towards Citymanagement. As the citymanager of various cities in the Netherlands, including Gouda, Hans - as a strategist - knows how to organise and optimise an inner city.

Since 2022 Hans has been active for Willemstad. Among other things, he has written the vision plan "The World of Punda" and the Terms of Reference to develop a shared vision for the entire city centre. Hans's strength lies in mapping out the total dynamics of a city centre and working collaboratively with all stakeholders to create a sustainable city centre in the most comprehensive form.

In addition to being a Citymanager and a pioneer, Hans serves as a Board Member of the Rotary Club of Curaçao and is Secretary of the Herring Party.
